We work with other organisations that support the socially isolated and those with dementia, as well as their carers. This allows us to offer continuity of support as our guests’ needs change by signposting to other valuable services.


Right at Home GF 

Right at Home is a home-care and live-in care provider covering Guildford, Godalming, Farnham, Fleet, Farnborough and Aldershot. It offers anything from the occasional home visit for some help around the house, companionship or shopping, right up to full-time, live-in care. Registered to provide personal care and medication support, it is rated outstanding by CQC.

Its in-house dementia specialists ensure clients are given the best support and advice. CareGivers are recruited based on their caring nature and ability to relate to other people. They undergo comprehensive training before being matched to a client.

Seniors Helping Seniors

Seniors Helping Seniors is an award-winning elderly care service that provides non-medical, in-home help. What makes it different is that the caregivers are seniors themselves. By carefully matching personality, interests and needs, it also allows friendships to flourish.

This provider works across Canterbury, Thanet, Dover, Sandwich, Ashford, Faversham, Folkestone, Guildford, Woking, Godalming, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, West Malling, Brighton and Hove, basically the whole of the south-east and east.

Ascot Care

Founded in 2008, Ascot Care operates across Surrey and Sussex, providing all sorts of different types of live-in care and home support, including night care. It has offices in Horsham, Cranleigh, Haywards Heath and Dorking.

Godalming’s Jubilee House is part of award-winning provider Care UK. It is one of the country’s most successful care-home operators, with more than 35 years of experience.

Rated outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), Jubilee House provides residential and nursing dementia care, as well as sensitive end-of-life care.


Birtley House

Established in 1932, Birtley House is a private, luxury, family-run nursing home with a capacity of up to 47 residents. The Victorian building is set within a 48-acre estate in Bramley, Surrey, and boasts stunning gardens, including a kitchen garden, which provides seasonal produce and flowers for the home. There is even Birtley House Honey, courtesy of the hives managed by Surrey Beekeepers, as well as a range of activities and events indoors and outdoors throughout the year.

Part of The Geoghegan Group, The Old Rectory is a 36-bed country house set within mature gardens and situated in the heart of the peaceful village of Ewhurst. Converted in 1989, it is managed by Andrew Geoghegan and offers nursing and respite care.

Close to the centre of the picturesque town of Horsham, the home boasts a large, secure garden overlooking the riverside walk. There is also a cinema and a bar and delivers residential and dementia  care as well as nursing and short-term respite care.

Age UK runs weekly clubs for people with dementia who live in the Horsham district. Critically, this also provides respite for carers. Its small and friendly clubs are run by trained staff and volunteers who are dedicated to provide high-quality, engaging activities. The latter are based around individual’s hobbies, interests and abilities. A hot two-course meal is provided as well as other refreshments.

The Hunter Centre

This charity supports those with dementia in Haslemere and surrounding areas. Everyone who feels they could benefit from being in a small, friendly community which understands the problems associated with dementia is welcome. It operates 10am-4pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Most clients have medium to high needs but an assessment is carried out on the first visit for all involved to decide if it is the best place to be.

The Hub Beeding

The Hub, Beeding is a place that connects people in the communities of Upper Beeding, Bramber and Steyning.

It’s the home of the Hub Cafe, where Hub Church meets for worship on Sundays. It is also the base of a number of community-focused initiatives, such as Be Friend Seniors and Friendship Lunches.


Melody Memories

For people with memory problems and their carers, this takes place at Rowley’s Community Centre, Cranleigh, GU6 8NT, on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month from 10.30am until noon. Rosemary & Sage Cafe

Memory Lane

Memory Lane welcomes people with dementia and their carers on the first and third Monday each month, 2.15-4.15pm, at the Cranleigh Arts Centre, GU6 8AS.
