Birtley House
Established in 1932, Birtley House is a private, luxury, family-run nursing home with a capacity of up to 47 residents. The Victorian building is set within a 48-acre estate in Bramley, Surrey, and boasts stunning gardens, including a kitchen garden, which provides seasonal produce and flowers for the home. There is even Birtley House Honey, courtesy of the hives managed by Surrey Beekeepers, as well as a range of activities and events indoors and outdoors throughout the year.
The Old Rectory
Part of The Geoghegan Group, The Old Rectory is a 36-bed country house set within mature gardens and situated in the heart of the peaceful village of Ewhurst. Converted in 1989, it is managed by Andrew Geoghegan and offers nursing and respite care.

Age UK Horsham District Daybreak Services 
Age UK runs weekly clubs for people with dementia who live in the Horsham district. Critically, this also provides respite for carers. Its small and friendly clubs are run by trained staff and volunteers who are dedicated to provide high-quality, engaging activities. The latter are based around individual’s hobbies, interests and abilities. A hot two-course meal is provided as well as other refreshments.

The Hunter Centre
This charity supports those with dementia in Haslemere and surrounding areas. Everyone who feels they could benefit from being in a small, friendly community which understands the problems associated with dementia is welcome. It operates 10am-4pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Most clients have medium to high needs but an assessment is carried out on the first visit for all involved to decide if it is the best place to be.

The Hub, Beeding is a place that connects people in the communities of Upper Beeding, Bramber and Steyning.
It’s the home of the Hub Cafe, where Hub Church meets for worship on Sundays. It is also the base of a number of community-focused initiatives, such as Be Friend Seniors and Friendship Lunches.

For people with memory problems and their carers, this takes place at Rowley’s Community Centre, Cranleigh, GU6 8NT, on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month from 10.30am until noon. Remembering Club
